As part of the “400ème” of Québec city, Caroline will participate in 2 plays. The first one, being Le Pêcheur Géant; a 4 meter high articulated puppet which will walk about the piers in search of the perfect place to cast his line. This will be Caroline’s first experience in manipulating a giant puppet. However, she did explore with different types of puppets such as the Bunkaru in Pupulus Mordicus as well as the traditional vietnamese aquatic puppet with Robert Lepage.
The second play will take place August 1, 2 and 3 on the piers of Québec city for the “400ème”. Caroline will be accompanied by Louis Tremblay of La Tête de Pioche to present Les Joyeux Bouchers, a brand new creation inspired by Boris Vian. The play will also be presented in Trois-Rivières and at ManiGanses, the Festival International des Arts de la Marionnette de Jonquière.
Michèle Hénen will play the role of Jenny, November 28, 29, 20 and December 5, 6 in CHEECH by François Létourneau, at Salle Olivier-Guimond in the Guybourg centre.
On December 12, 13 and 14, she will also play in La Pastorale des Santons de Provence, adapted from Pastorale du Berger David by Yvan Audouard. A production of Théâtre de la p’tite mort. The representations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Apôtre church in Montreal (in front of Radio-Canada).
Sonia Gadbois is coming back from touring in Mexico and from a congress in Slovenia, in which she participated as a member of the délégation canadienne du Réseau international du spectacle (IETM).
In July, she will be in Banff, Alberta, to present the last creation from Théâtre Sans Fil: Le Royaume des devins.
From May 22 to May 24th, she will play in some excerpts the play which was presented in Mexico, for the Salon International du design de Montréal event.
This summer, she will assist in the staging and directing of Endormi(e)s, in which the first phase of creation will be presented at the end of May, at the Festival OFFTA event.
Sonia Gadbois will also be part of the cast for the film Ménage d’été, directed by Jonathan Levert.

Salvador, by Suzanne Lebeau, a production from Le Carrousel Theatre presented at La Maison-Théâtre, in Montréal, from September 24th to October 12th, 2008 in a variety of roles.
Down Dangerous Passes Road, by Michel-Marc Bouchard, a production of the Talisman Theatre presented at La Chapelle Theatre, in Montréal, from November 6th to November 16th, 2008, in the role of Ambrose.
Une maison face au nord, by Jean-Rock Gaudreault, a co-production of Théâtre La Rubrique of Jonquière and Théâtre Français de Toronto presented at Salle Pierrette-Gaudreault in Jonquière from January 27th to February 14th, 2009 and at the Berkeley Street Theatre in Toronto from February 25th to March 8th, 2009, in the role of Henriquez.
Édith Patenaude will participate at the Chantiers du Carrefour international de théâtre de Québec in May 2008. She will first interpret the role of Rachel in the lecture of Les Arbres, followed by the role of Amy in the play entitled Tape.
Édith Patenaude will play the role of Rachel in Les Arbres, written, directed and produced by Édith Patenaude in collaboration with Krystel Descary, presented in Montreal, in June 2008, at the Fringe Festival.
Édith Patenaude will interpret the role of Georgeanne in Cinq femme portant la même robe, a play by Allen Ball, at the Premier Acte Theatre in Québec, in February 2009.
Édith Patenaude will be on stage at the Plaines d’Abraham for a Saint-Jean Baptiste show held on June 23rd, 2008. The show, in which Édith will interpret different historical characters with Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge, will be broadcasted on Radio-Canada. The premise of this event is to celebrate the 400th anniversity of Québec city.
